film review – The Wolf Of Wall Street

The Wolf Of Wall Street is absolutely insane. Three hours of crazy debauchery, orchestrated by Leonardo DiCaprio’s Jordan Belfort, commence from the get-go and all of it is truly mesmerizing. This is Martin Scorsese’s best film since 1995’s Casino, directed with care and absolute craftmanship. But The Wolf Of Wall Street really is DiCaprio’s film, a showcase of his many talents, some of which really haven’t been seen before. Leo’s Belfort is vile, charming, pathetic and funny, often all at once. It’s Gatsby gone wrong, and it’s great. 9/10
